It wasn't bad... better than all those other movies put together, other than the mario movie of course. ;D

@The WoW Movie- Eh... wth? If blizzard is gonna make a movie based off one of their games, it should be Starcraft.

the general story of guildwars lacks alot,
proph was general predictable, and has many HOLES in the plot
factions was a macbeth rip off
nightfall was decent in story imo, u can really tell they hired someone to write it.
gwen, to short to get any story goin, mb make the dungeons required and like those stories with the main story they could have expanded the story alot more than they did.
But if they made a movie as long as they hire someone else to write it it may be decent.

I'd actually...be interested. The story of proph isn't really bad at all, it's just long. It'd be interesting to see more of a mini-series take than an actual movie, for me at least.

You guys need to think outside the box...noone ever said they had to follow the storyline of the games. The Final Fantasy movies didn't. The Super Mario movie didn't.(bad example maybe? ) Hell, comic book adaptations don't follow storylines exactly. They're attenuated, changed around, given creative license.

The movie doesn't need to follow some Wammo training in an academy, learning skills, finding a friend, moving on to post-searing meeting two more friends, taking refugees to Shiverpeaks, meeting two MORE friends....etc. It can branch off...follow the story of the Heroes (Cynn, Mhenlo, Aidan, etc), since Shiro and the Lich were pawns of Abbadon, why not make all three stories into one? Multiple storylines that come together with an epic battle between good and evil.

STOOOOP right there with comic books.

comic book characters have been around for decades, their stories have been written and re-written pretty damm near countless times.

they are modified sure but i can guarantee you that that particular (hacked)version has been previously tested on the market before.

from the "lore" standpoint comicbooks are so deep, happily drowning in trivia is a (sega)boy sport.
